ONE WEEK TO THE UK DEBUT

It’s been ages since anyone wrote anything here on the blog. It’s just to much work to keep everything updated. We are mainly focusing on our Facebook page and that’s work enough… J Anyway, I try not to whine so much… This is a perfect time to start up the blog again and hopefully keep it somewhat updated from now on…

This is HAAAPPY times! One week from now we are playing our debut gig in The UK, or m aybe I should say debut gig outside of Sweden, as a matter of fact. If you have missed it, we will be playing the Hard Rock Hell festival in Rotherham next weekend. It seems like it’s sold out, I don’t know how many people that actually means, but someone said around 4-5000! I don’t know, it’s better to keep the expectations down, so even if it’s 1000 people, or even 500, it will be a blast.
One year ago, our album were done, we had no record deal, nobody knew that we existed, we thought we had some killer song recorded, but had no idea how well it’s was going to be accepted around the globe. Now we are soon to play the main stage at a major British rock festival! Crazy cool! J

Tomorrow we will have our last rehearsal on Swedish ground. We have rented a place in Sheffield on Saturday to freshen up our mind, but tomorrow will be were everything has got to be decided. Stage show, different arrangements we have been working on, setlist shouldn’t be changed after tomorrow.
We have our four new songs, they are recorded and were supposed to be released around the time of this festival, but we decided to wait. Anyway, we have four new amazing songs that we are dying to share with you all. I don’t know if it’s smart to play all four in a one hour set, where most of the crowd might not even have heard us before… Or have they…? Will they sing along in the songs, or will they be at the bar ordering the first beer of the day? Will anyone be ready for some new material? We think so, or we hope so and can’t help ourselves. We need to play these songs, or at least a few of them. Are you eager to hear some new songs England? J

Sofia and I will take the car and drive to England. Why not just fly? Well, for one, I need to bring FOUR of my guitars and I really want to play on my own Marshall JCM 800 and that would kill me to pay over weight for all that.
We will leave on Wednesday already, just to take our time, maybe stop in London for some last minute stage cloth updates. It will be a nice road trip. Great music on the stereo, a lot of Tesla, which is my favorite newly rediscovered band, together with Talisman. Great warm up’s since Jeff Scott Soto and Tesla are playing at the festival. Those two gigs are the ones I will NOT miss, I hope I get to see a lot more shows, but those two are my “must see”.

Okay, that’s it for now. We are going to update this blog a lot more. Hopefully we will also get our Youtube channel up and running soon. I guess it will be “No sleep ‘til Rotherham”… J
